I'm trying something different: Colored papers , metal rule and X-Acto Greenish and blondish Dip the paper strips in the thinned acrylic paint Cut the strips to length desired
This groundwork is still in progress: Need more... Also I use static grass and dry plants.
One of the Ma.k. rules is: do what you want ^^ My way is the most dirty and dusty...
[Edit:] New pictures
this area is very exposed: Damages from the exhaust of cartridge cases and oil sludge from the joint of the leg! About the oil sludge: It's a mix of MIG Pigment Black Smoke + White Glue + dust (from dirt)
Chipping and weathering still in progress...
Under the foot: Dirt (with White Glue) And different layers of MIG Pigment: Gulf War sand, Europe dust and Concrete. Dry brush with Boltgun Metal from Citadel Colour.
I use oil paints : Main colors : Lamps Black, titanium White and Raw Umber. And a little bit of those colors too: Prussian blue (mixed with the white), Deep Naples yellow(mixed with the white) andlater:Burnt Sienna.
My favorite design (beautiful box too...): An autumn unit without crew.
The armor plates on the legs and the smoke launchers are from theGANS. The bigger work is under the left foot. To support the weight the right leg is reinforced with a steel mainframe inside!
